Types of network connections

there are two types of network connections they are
1.point to point / parallel/ peer to peer network connection.
2.multipoint network connection.

POINT TO POINT NETWORK

Multipoint connection

difference between point to point and multi point connection

Point to point
1.data speed is high
2.Implementation cost is low
3.troubleshooting is easy

Multipoint connection
1.Data speed is low
2.implementation cost is high
3.troubleshooting is difficulty

DIRECTION OF DATA FLOW

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF DATA FLOW THEY ARE
1.SIMPLEX
2.HALF DUPLEX
3.FULL DUPLEX

SIMPLEX
ONE PROCESS AT TIME.

EXAMPLE: REMOTE DESKTOP

HALF DUPLEX
TWO WAY COMMUNICATION BUT DIFFERENT TIME INTERVALS

EXAMPLE: REMOTE ASSISTANCE,WALKY TALKY,

FULL DUPLEX

TWO WAY COMMUTATION WITH SAME TIME INTERVALS
EXAMPLE: EMAIL, TELEPHONE NETWORKS,CHATTING.
